About

Ports&Bridges, founded 2006, is a multitwinning ring with JCI Antwerpen, JCI Hamburg, JCI Istanbul, JCI Riga and JCI Turku.
All chapters in Ports&Bridges are harbour or near the water cities and logistics centres. The idea is to get to know better the different countries business environment and cultures along with knowing better these chapters members to strengthen our JCI networks.

Ports&Bridges is an active multitwinning project between multiple JCI chapters located in harbour cities.

This project was founded in 2006 by JCI Antwerp, JCI Hamburg, JCI Riga New and JCI Turku. In 2007 JCI Istanbul has joined, followed by JCI Rotterdam Haven, JCI Duisburg in 2012, JCI Saint Petersburg.

European cultural exchange

All member chapters in Ports&Bridges are waterbound cities and logistic centers with vibrant harbour activities. The main goal of the activities of Ports&Bridges is the establishment of an active international exchange between chapters. The key focus is a cultural and business know-how transfer as well as bonding between individuals, which in turn will strengthen the European JCI network.

JCI Antwerp to host the 2020 event

Each year, the member chapters take turns in hosting the group and inviting everyone to join an eventful weekend.

In the year 2020, Antwerp, the diamond city of Belgium,  will host the Multitwinning event.

As usual, a big variety of activities will be provided: a GAP (Getting Aquainted Party), local company/harbour visits, glamorous nightlife activities, a splendid gala dinner and much, much more. Make sure you’ll be there!
